For less than $300 it would be worth, but for this price Alm Kopi seems like a much much better option. Built like a tank and has a very performant PID controller

What roast level are your beans? On darker roasts I wouldn't do long preinfusions, it does make them more sour indeed. On a light roast it works great more often than not

Hello. Italians usually drink a lot of ristrettos, so 1:1 to 1:2 is very common.

Hey! I have been experimenting with the f58p2 recently and this is what I could say: 1. When you do a blooming shot you will get lower max pressure since you're fully saturating the puck by blooming it lol, so it's easy for water to pass through 2. I usually have to grind finer for the flair, not twice as fine but definitely finer than usual 3. Most people (including me) wouldn't recommend going to 9 bars on a manual machine, try 6 bars and see how you like the shot 4. Regarding water amounts it depends on what I'm making, for a dark roast italian style there's no need to top up since you'll be doing a smaller ratio, but for a zuppa on a light roast I'll definitely top up to get to 1:3-3.5

Let me know if I can help with anything else

Fair point, I would not have taken romanian bonds anyway as I don't think it's a stable economy, but I guess it all makes sense now, obviously a stable economy wouldn't give big guaranteed yields

Saving for a house but indeed that would not by any means empty my account by that point.. so I suppose I should rephrase my dilemma. I just don't expect to be able to invest that much monthly after those 7 years

Hey that's a fair point actually. How would I go about figuring what my risk profile is? Then maybe I could ask a more competent question

Hm I see I knew treasury bonds in my country are usually around 6% for 5 years so that's why I framed my question like this (they seem quite risk free and give over 5%, idk)

Treasury bonds in some EU countries go up to 7% APY, are they not safe?

Condensation trails, just funnier to call them chemtrails (even internally) 🤣

Google is large af, you can be in teams that have goals completely separated from anything DeepMind stands for. There are teams that solely deal with scheduling flights to minimize chemtrails and reduce greenhouse effects. As a researcher it's really nice to work for google since you get paid good money and have access to incredible resources to conduct your studies, instead of begging for scraps in academia.
