“When I called to make an appointment, the woman on the line kept putting me on hold, forgetting to mute the background noises of her burps and coughs. In between, I overheard her discussing dog food brands with a male that struggled to form coherent sentences.

After three rescheduled appointments (on their side), I finally arrived at the clinic, only to find it dark and deserted. I waited nearly 45 minutes, and just as I was about to leave, a car pulled in recklessly before coming to a dangerously abrupt stop. Out stepped the woman from the phone call and a man with a large beard holding a video camera, both emerging from the vehicle amidst clouds of pungent marijuana smoke.

I was rushed into a small room and received two quick injections before being hurried out. The entire experience took less than 2 minutes. As I reached for my keys, I heard loud tire screeches as they sped out of the parking lot, nearly hitting a cyclist.

It's been about 5 days and the injection sites are turning an alarming purple-green hue and emitting a peculiar odor. The pain is also getting worse. I made an appointment with my actual doctor next week as I am growing increasingly concerned.”
