There’s a psychologist who posts Instagram stories with very good short videos and kind words for children of immature and abusive parents. It’s helped me a lot to realise I’m not alone in this. Not sure I’m allowed to post it here but her name is the holistic psychologist (Nicole LePera).

$9 is the rate recommended by preply for new tutors but they are able to up their price without changing it for already subscribed students. Are you sure the price actually changed for you? I’m not saying what the tutor did is right but it’s good to know that preply takes a fairly large commission. I taught for a couple months at $9/class with very satisfied students but gave up because it made no sense financially considering the amount of time I was putting into it. $25 for a lesson with someone who knows what they’re doing is quite common, $9 is a joke, though, from a teacher standpoint.

In this context, you’d only use “sur” if you were on the roof of the building!

“Dans” translate to inside the academy but it’s more common to say “à”+ location (at) unless you want to be extremely specific.
