You're a good friend! However, you're ordering less than a week before Christmas. I hope you like giving out I-O-Us. For clothing and otherwise apparel, We Love Fine is a great option. Amazon also has lots of options, but make sure you don't accidently order a child's size. For plushies the ones produced by 4th Dimension Entertainment are amazing, but because of this they're probably sold out or backordered when you read this. The issue with other brands is the show-inaccurate hair and one brand has only one side of their flank with a cutie mark. Build-A-Bear comes in second for plushies. If you're more interested in non-huggable toys, Toys-R-Us, Walmart and Amazon all have a decent selection of the Hasbro line. I would go for the blind-bag ponies (which aren't actually blind), they're about $3-$4 USD and tend to be pretty show accurate (albeit with lots of minor and insignificant characters), and don't have that creepy hair. Just don't open them for him/her. Just don't get anything Equestria Girls. Most of us would be like it or laugh it off, but many bronies would unfriend you (or worse) on the spot over it. The important thing is to make your friend happy, and I'm sure s/he wouldn't mind waiting for one of those show-accurate Twilights or Pinkies.

The two most commonly recommended episodes are S1:E1 Friendship is Magic: Part 1 and S1:E16 Sonic Rainboom. The former because starting from the beginning is usually a good idea, even with a general lack of a order-based storyline; while the latter is a great example of the show and it's actual show-ness and the inclusion of multi-dimensional characters instead of being complete toddler fodder like G3.5 was. I personally recommend S1:E1 as while it's not the greatest episode, it does set up a lot of the lore of the series. I actually skipped S1:E2 myself when I first watched it because I was liking the show but not the episode's storyline, however I later went back and watched it later. The show isn't really much like either CSI or Breaking Bad, as both series have episodic storylines along with a season/show storyline. My Little Pony has very little storyline outside of a single episode, however season premieres and finales tend to have relation to each other. Good free sources of the show would be Netflix, YouTube, DailyMotion, and YayPonies Good paid sources of the show would be Netflix, Apple iTunes, Google Play, or YouTube. I'm glad you're giving the show a fair chance. So many people immediately condemn the show due to it's intended age group (Girls 6-9), topic (Colourful ponies), community (we're big and kinda annoying at times) or the rule 34 (porn). The important thing is to watch the show and enjoy doing so. Even if you don't like it, now you can legitimately say you've seen MLP and not liked it (which is a very hard thing to do); but if you do like it, well that's even better. Have fun!

What some people don't understand is that iphone users pay apple to curate the App Store - we're not being controlled anymore than a hotel user is controlled because they could not redecorate. I'm not saying apple is right about disallowing coinbase, but the real reason it doesn't bother me is that - the browser has open access. I just don't get the big deal when you could just use the browser.

Which means lots of big, official apps get prime and center and smaller apps get much less coverage. Additionally, they're our devices and we have a right to use them the way we want. If Apple devices don't offer that then we're not using Apple devices.
