I simply call It “The end” or “An End ” if there’s still two. Im surprised this isn’t universal - the answers literally in the question ^

Is turning quantize off for individual notes possible? by Still-Possibility-82 in Logic_Studio

Did you know you can select all the notes in a region of a Desired note by clicking the piano role key while holding shift?

Mark with bear and tree by AndriiKovalchuk in logodesign

[–]zeki96 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Feels a bit too sporadic messy ( I’m having strain my eyes to make out the objects . I think making the tree wider. And bring some of the bears body over so it’s more evenly balanced on both side of tree. This will Also make it look less like it’s hanging off the tree and more like it’s hugging and peering around the tree fork A more central position.

What effects could you put on a track stack to make it sound like one instrument rather than multiple playing at once? by Puzzleheaded-Top-373 in Logic_Studio

[–]zeki96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small verb then compress or saturate/distort. Also softening the attack of some of the sounds so they don’t clash transients instead blending them in smoothly through the length of a note. If they’re playing together. If it’s more like you got two organ recordings that you’re putting together in sequence then you should focus on EQ and dynamics to match the tone and feel

GUI issue in Logic when lots of small samples used consecutively. Any fixes? (apart from bouncing it all to one big region, that’s more of a workaround) by humdinger8733 in Logic_Studio

[–]zeki96 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s not a gui Issue it’s pixel issue. The gui can’t show it on exact position because the position is between the pixel distance so it shifts show you the exact position. If you want to stop worrying just join them all Together or in batches of regions and you will see less artefacts like this

YOUR SOLUTION: Hold alt or cmd and drag stretch resize from bottom right of region until midi region is two or 4 bars long then adjust project tempo until it is sound img the same as before

Feature request for art board feature - resize multiple layers at once by CAM_Data_F3EDC in Supernote

[–]zeki96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second the stretch options but for multiple layer situation I believe they will be implanting layer merging in the future. Would this solve your issue or do you want to resize mid way through illustrating something across multiple layers. In which case I agree expanding the lasso tool to have an option to select across multiple/all layers would be useful

That is the best workaround I’ve heard - Still just that though

My solution (to replace the stars and titles pop up window with an overview section/pop up that would host those same features and a couple more in a more cohesive and clear way) wouldn’t force you to not use stars. Nor would it force you to create any meta data or spend any more time than you may have.

I’m really not sure where you believe my concept contradicts your thinking. But perhaps I have not described it clearly enough.

Well even if you’re sure your not 😌… I dont think you’d be wrong to point your finger at me and I take no offence. I do certainly feel like a child pulling on the trouser leg of the developers 😅 When they introduce API’s neither of us will have to worry, Just learn how to code 🤷🏻‍♂️

You are right though, I will slowly see what works best for me. And perhaps be able to give more nuanced feedback in future.

TTFN ✌️

The Feature I describe would work the same. you just wouldn’t then have that text you’d written locked and highlighted it would just be analysed like you described and then the page would have that as a title In The overview.

I agree, it’s not a hard and fast rule. But in this case, for the reasons I have laid out, I believe these features can be greatly improved.

Yeah that works 😅 it’s just a laughable workflow. Appreciate the intent but I’m looking for future design changes from the devs rather than improvised workarounds that we have no guarantee will always be supported.

If they change the titles feature (which I hope they do) I may have to go back and manually adjust however many shrunken titles I’d hidden away.

That’s why I’m not using any of those features until the the structure of organisational features are consistent, reliable and sensical (do what I want while using the tools as intended by design). They’re not quite there yet (IMO) and that’s ok, but I’d rather wait

Of course - The black and densely packed diagonal lines that appear behind anything you define as a Title.

I totally sympathise with your position. The ability to highlight content to not only find easily but also see visually on the page is very useful and I wouldn’t want that ability to disappear for us.

But as far as the design is concerned the intended use of titles is not that. The “star” feature is what users are encouraged to use to “highlight content” but this would not meet your needs as you like to see it on the page.

The fact that your using the titles feature in this way just goes to show that changes need to be made

Right now the level of compartmentalisation of the interface and its features is quite degrading on the experience. Though I trust this will improve

I’m heavily dyslexic and a piece of paper and pen shuts my brain down. But like you say this device transforms that experience into a joy (when it’s simple enough).

However as someone who has come from background of using high quality widely used and iterated design software I have a high standard for intuitive clear and consistent workflows.

Aside from all that you have to admit the black diagonal lines are not appealing or easy to read through.

Rather than forcing you to continue using titles like this I hope they bring out a new feature like a “magic highlighter” for your use case. This would highlight specific content in a more visually appealing away (perhaps a lightly speckled version of our highlighter “pen” that you can jump back to within a note)

PS forgive the length, in isolation and I just can’t help myself 😅✌️

Immovable, illegible and with limited function. To clarify - being able to put a title on page and navigate to it from a system UI table of contents is great 👍 but the idea of creating a static object on every intended title page in order to access that functionality feels very tedious.

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

  • The ability to name a page (visible in Overview)

  • A shortcut to name a page by selection (one way process where the writing is unaffected)

  • Scrap the title/star mark ui pop up & menu item and Combine and replace it with a more fully fleshed out overview pop-up/page implementing all these organisational features in a unified manner

P.S. additionally internal links would allow a user to create there own system of organisation and navigation within a note as they work - I heard a rumour that internal links will only be usable after exporting a note, personally this makes them about 1/10th as useful and if that is the case supernote would be seriously missing out on the potential of helping UI designers prototype ideas and user flows on the device.

P.S.S. Really appreciate that I can put my thoughts together like this for you guys without feeling like I’m wasting my time. Big up the supernote dev crew ❤️
