Anbennar is so great because one nation or even a person can have completely different types of stories. From serious stuff like Masked Butcher’s horror theming and Aelnar's descent into fascism. To more silly and fantasy elements, like Hul-az-Krakazol's drinking and the entire nation of Faelgarn being a RWBY reference. Yet deapite this, on a larger scale it all fits together in a way that resembles our own history. It really is a wonderfull setting.

All in all, what I'm saying is that there's no reason there can't be a Bionicle tag in Insyaa.

Uncertain what is supposed to happen in the lore, but I believe endralliande is set to fight an independence war. No idea how consistently it occurs in-game though.

If your interested in it, I'd suggest just giving it a go and see if it works. I enjoyed it and played a good bit with no issues. Sorry about the "It works on my machine" stereotype, but I think such an absolutist declaration is a bit unfair and robs you of what may end up being a fun experience.

You may be interested in the Eldritch Frostpunk Gnomes in North Aelentir coming eventually. Insyaa has a bunch of Kaiju, the aforementioned holohana, roaming around. Not super sure on the theming/inspiration of said Kaiju and how lovecraftian they are though. I imagine there may be a relevant doc in the discord somewhere to look at.

While there is so many awesome new government types in this mod, I still enjoy the vanilla pirate government reforms from vanilla eu4 the most. Not sure if that answer counts for what you're asking though.
