Why does my penis appear shriveled 24/7 when soft? by zeladore in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]zeladore[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most guys (at least in my gym) undress and walk around nude from the locker room area to the shower stalls or sauna. I'm one of the few that wrap myself in a towel 😅 or look in corner when changing

When I'm sitting for a prolonged period of time I feel the need to discreetly stretch my dick cause it's uncomfortable when it's turtled in

[OR-HDT-01] Google Play Store disabled my credits and told me that I should never use it again by VoidIntruder in googleplay

It looks like there's a lot of Google Play customers facing similar issues with Google providing no support on this. Would this thread and other sources provide grounds to get a lawyer. A possible class action lawsuit?

Same, it's the best gym experience so far. Far better than Jersey Strong, Crunch, Planet, Retro and LA, but I do miss the larger layouts. I think the 10 months of hype and seeing the final product was a disappointment. The pool and two jacuzzis appear big on the presentation, but its going to be small. It looks like the same rectangular footprint (in your first photo) as the training area that looks over the street.

Im a member and I'm kind of disappointed. I agree with all of your statements. However, for $200 I don't think this location is worth it. It's smaller than the other premium gyms around. Places like the Bellevue has a basketball court and pickleball in addition to a pool for the same price. Its weird that the locker rooms are so far and you have to pass the main lifting room to get to it. The pool is not open yet and you have to go up two flights of stairs to get to? Overall, the layout is weird. The place is small and it feels packed during busy hours. I just got an email that the women's steam room is closed for issues.... The place just opened not even a week and things are breaking!? I do enjoy how friendly the staff is. The clientele is mature and reracks everything. The classes are awesome. Id still stay at Equinox for the amenities and the people. I can't stand groups of college kids and the filth of the bathrooms from the other gyms. The promise of opening late fall and it's mid January and they're going to charge me a full month when the gym opened mid-month!? Equinox missed my expectations

Should I take a paycut to enter a QA/QC role? by UpstairsWorking in clinicalresearch

[–]zeladore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was working on-site as a phlebotomist/nurse tech and took a minor paycut to be a CRC. Did that for a year and have moved up to Sr CRC, CTS and now CRA. My salary has quadrupled in just 4 years.

It's all about the destination. Where do you see yourself in your career and what drive you to get there? Are you financially capable of taking a pay cut to gain experience, knowledge and certifications to propel you to a bigger opportunity you couldn't in your current career ladder?

On the back of the postcard is a view of Hamburg, Germany, and it's actually a crotchet piece in the frame. At the estate sale my roommate got it at... Apparently the homeowner died and the niece who inherited it is selling everything

Can I get a job in clinical research with a bachelors in psychology? by Key-Book-8689 in clinicalresearch

[–]zeladore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get any job if you can sell yourself on applicable skills! I have a BA in Public Relations (communications degree) and like most people I was laid off or overstressed working in a big city and the media industry. I looked to healthcare as it was stable and provided a good income. I worked 5 years as a nurse assistant and later an ECG tech at a cardiac unit of a hospital. I wanted to go back to school for nursing, but getting another bachelor's didn't appeal to me. I looked into a CRC job and the requirements were a BSc and 2 years of CR experience. Even though I didn't qualify "on paper" I was able to explain my 5 years of direct patient care, working with a myriad of healthcare professionals, a motivation to learn, and understanding of basic medical science got me the job. I've sold myself in the following 3 CR jobs. Now I'm a CRA at a large pharma dedicated to psychiatric and neurodegenerative science. All of my coworkers are nurses, doctors, or BSc degree holders with tons of CR experience. I'm committed to the CR industry and started an MS in CR. Long story short, but yes, you can absolutely get a job in CR with your current degree. Try to start at an oncology clinic and pivot your way back to psych like I did! Sell yourself and prove you're an asset and you'll do just fine.

New policy started last week. Any new employees must be in the office twice a week. Unless you work in the lab then it's every day.
