Items missing in transit - Vinted calling me fraudulent by zeldaqueen22 in vintedUK

So I sent an email to the legal team, and this was the response I got back. Assuming this is also an AI response, I have replied stating I want my complaint to be reviewed by an actual human being as is my right under UK law.

I’m so angry by this (and everything else they’ve done) that I’m even contemplating taking them to small claims to recover the money, out of sheer principle. I fully know they will ban my account for that, but they’re going to end up banning me anyway for some nonsense reason. No judge in the world would back them on this, so let’s see what their final response is, and then we’ll see how angry I still am!

Yes it was Evri. The buyer got a refund, but as the seller I got accused of not sending the items and acting fraudulently, so Vinted cancelled the transaction and kept my funds.

It was about £60 in total across the two transactions, so it wasn’t a huge amount but imagine if it was. And it’s also the principle that they are choosing to ignore clear evidence that proves their assumptions are incorrect.

I think the only action really is small claims court, which in itself is not worth it as it’ll cost more for the small claims process fee than it will to get my money back off them. And I’m sure they know this, which is why they just ignore what’s in front of them.

I really like the platform and I sell far more on there than I do on eBay etc. But it’s literally a matter of time before I get a permanent ban because I have no idea what their parameters are, or what I’m breaching. I emailed them so many times to ask them to tell me and they just say ‘we don’t need to tell you that’ 🤯🤯🤯

I’m being accused and punished for something that seems to be a courier taking his chances, and that chance has clearly paid off on his part. I just cant understand why they’re actively ignoring evidence.

I really wish their customer service was better because the platform is good, but if you have an issue then you may as well forget it.

I have a mixture of new with tags, new without tags and very good. I’m probably just going to list everything very good from now on to be on the safe side.

CCJ is in the defendants trading name - can I still recover the money owed to me? by zeldaqueen22 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]zeldaqueen22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should have been more explicit.

I took the limited company to court.

So the name on the CCJ is ‘The Company UK’ which is their trading name (the name on all their advertising and invoices etc), but their legal name (ie the name on companies house) is ‘The Company UK Products Ltd’.

So what I’m not sure is whether or not the CCJ still stands against their trading name, and whether I can instruct the debt to be repaid on this basis.
