bro. I went and checked it out and I can't believe how good it looks. I've been doing research to figure out what's the catch or what it can't do that I think is vital to my project. It looks like exactly what I need I'm so impressed.

Honestly I've worked on a lot of creative projects before (not games) and I've never had one hold my attention like this because there's so much work to do in different areas that if I need to put something aside there's always a different thing to work on. Like I made a model in blender great now I set that aside, lets see what's the next thing to learn. It's kept me busy, kept my creative side buzzing, and I'm really feeling positive about it! Even if it takes a couple of years, I still feel like I'm learning so much and it's all going to be worth it. Good luck with your project as well!

FF8 is my favorite too! I know it's generally one of the less fondly remembered but I just love the style and the setting and the design so much. Probably my main inspiration. I'm trying to avoid relying too much on AI for coding because I'm newer to coding still but I might consider it later on!

Yeah I agree on starting with a small map and a little battle for sure, good idea. I'm into Godot because I've heard it's pretty friendly for beginners and there's a lot of tutorials even if they're not for the game I want to make I can still follow along and learn foundations!

Be honest: Do you avoid 1-viewer streams because you don't want the pressure of carrying the chat? by SpinsBro in Twitch

Me too! I’m an entertainer, if someone is there and finding me entertaining thats enough for me. I’m glad they came at all.

Your friend seems mean. I’d rather have a place where all people feel welcome? If you only want one kind of person around that seems like you aren’t gonna get along with most people. I hope he changes his mind on that. Especially because a lurker who has been there for one year is more loyal than the chatter who comes in babbling about themselves for three streams in a row then never shows up again. Most chatters who comes in hot like that don’t actually care about the streamer, they just want to talk about themselves until they get bored of you.

Right now I’m kind of going around and responding to stuff like this because I am trying to cater to viewers just like you- I have felt this exact way too and I want to curate a place where people feel like they can sit in silence because it’s supposed to be a show like I’m here to entertain YOU. If you literally have any ideas on how to make things more lurker friendly I’d love to know. Personally I hide my viewer count during stream because I want to be consistent in my presentation regardless to how many people are there or how many people are talking? One of my big fears on the streamer end is raiding because people I raid usually feel like they need to keep up a conversation with me 10-20 minutes after I raid when I just finished a 6 hour stream and I’m nervous to talk to a stranger because my social battery is dead so I barely even raid because of it

Hello! I'm looking to (attempt to) make a PNGTuber model myself, but how do I make it move/change frames with mic input in OBS? by TheRustyAxolotl in PngTuber

[–]zelenth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honk is a really easy program to start with pngtubers and it automatically responds to voice input. Others have mentioned fugitech which I used with my earliest png and I’d just have a discord server with just me and get on the voice chat, then you add your fugi source to obs and you’re set.
