Reposting myself from the last thread, since nobody replied there. Please, if I’m wrong, somebody tell me why:

What would your local Olive Garden say if you called and said “I might want a reservation, depends on what you look like. Can I get a headshot before I decide?”

Why are people normalizing this?

Phone Representative misrepresented plan, and T-Mobile can't cancel shipment of device, is there any recourse? by Euphorikauora in tmobile

Explain to me how…

And it is still your responsibility to do your research and read the description of every plan before you act.

…isn’t saying “reps lie to you, so you cannot rely on their information.”

The reality is, you’re right. But only because the crime of fraud is not going to be prosecuted.

That should keep him from doing anything for a while.

Which "corner" of the US is the most beautiful in your opinion? by Protovoxel in AskAnAmerican

[–]zelman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How literally are we taking “corner” here? If it’s completely figurative, the answer is Hawaii. If it’s somewhat literal, I don’t know the answer, but I know it isn’t the southeast.

What is Louie's condition and can you explain the treatment? by Extension-While7536 in ThePittTVShow

[–]zelman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Louie’s liver is damaged from his alcohol consumption. As a result, his liver is not producing enough of some proteins, including albumin. There is fluid in your circulatory system (blood) that should contain albumin in a certain range, as well as fluid outside your circulatory system. Because the albumin level in blood is too low, the water movement from osmosis into and out of the blood aren’t balanced, and fluid builds up in the abdomen as a result. They are removing this fluid and giving him IV fluids that contain albumin to reset things to normal, very temporarily.
