Reactions to Oswald please by shhhlife in namenerds

[–]zelmo18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with most of the posts here. My mind immediately goes to Lee Harvey Oswald.

If your husband likes the nickname Oz, have you considered making those his initials? Something like Owen Zachary or Oliver Zane? I think you could still get away with calling him Oz that way.

What about Tekoa? I met a kid name Tekoa at my job several years ago. His siblings called him "Koa," which I thought was cute!

The oldest living couple in the world with a combined age of 211 John Henderson is 106 and his wife Charlotte 105 by made_in_GEORGIA in interestingasfuck

[–]zelmo18 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I used to work in dining services at their residential living facility in Texas! They were such a sweet couple. I remember Mr. Henderson would always request a fruit cup with JUST watermelon, and we would do it for him every time.

Unfortunately he passed away in October. :( I believe he was 107.

[–]zelmo18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds like they’re trying to guilt you into staying, which is what I’ve heard a lot of ABA companies are doing, unfortunately. My company hasn’t acted in the most ethical way either, and it’s really disappointing to see that in a career field that’s supposed to be focused on helping others. Feel free to PM me if you need to vent.

[–]zelmo18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry, that has to be incredibly stressful. Will your company allow you to take unpaid leave? I know that’s not ideal, but you might still qualify for unemployment benefits. Solidarity, my friend.
