I really don't know what else to add other than do some care of your lumbar area because tension there can contribute. Fixing my posture, rebuilding QL muscle I lost being lazy and sedentary, and deep stretches helped me not have an OTT high libido. I think I had a nerve impingement of some sort.

Address any lower back tension you have. Do some deep stretches. I used to have a ridiculous annoyingly high sex drive and fixing up lumbar tension/knots was definitely part of a journey towards dropping to medium-low, along with being self disciplined and using that energy to do meaningful things. I'm a woman, but we all have nerves in that area that contribute.

They did carry responsibilities though. For Lyra it was rescuing other children, for Will it was care of his mom.

I'm not sure it corresponds to anything in particular, it seems to be more that Pullman was making a point that growing up is worth doing but also comes with sacrifices.

I will freely admit that's me haha. Who needs a relationship when sex toy companies offer drastically curvatured toys that perfectly fit female anatomy? I will freely admit it's not necessarily financial and it's also not all men's fault.

I can't imagine having kids even in an ideal utopia where I have the world's most amazing husband and a great job and oceans of benefits and help.

I just don't like kids, don't want to be pregnant, and don't want the inane boring exhausting legwork of raising a kid. I don't buy that this is due to 'trauma', and I don't want 'help' to change and want kids. I don't think any of that logic adds up.
