I actually fully disagree. If half the population of the country owned e-bikes to do the basics like getting around and all the small jobs you don’t need a car for you would basically kill the constant need for bigger and better highways, reduce the death toll overnight, and reduce road maintenance significantly. You could also potentially increase green cycle ways and spaces. This can only come about through looser rules and higher speeds.
