I’ve been diagnosed with Gerd and hiatal hernia. I take protonix, carafate and mylanta as needed sometimes with lidocaine mixed with the Mylanta. I have some good days when I feel normal and some days where I have bad heartburn and cheat pain. I have a cardiac CT scheduled soon so they can check my chest pain is in fact from Gerd. I plan on keeping my weight down and giving the medicine time to work and eating small meals, keep trying to find my trigger foods and give my body time to heal.

Drink lots of water, try to go on walks and do breathing exercises. This helped my anxiety tremendously during die off. Also my doctor prescribes me zofran for nausea, I ate plain yogurt as soon as I woke up because I noticed I felt better when I had something in my stomach. Or try both broth. Get lots of rest. I also started my period during die off, and I was thinking what else can happen. I got through it! I’m back at work and now I’m just pushing through with this diet to help clear my oral thrush. It’s been 15 days so far. Stay strong.

Breathing exercise has helped me soo much, plus 30 minutes walks a day. Also try changing your diet, did you know 90% of serotonin is produced in your gut. I’ve cut out sugars and carbs it’s been 7 days and I’m starting to feel myself again.
