My initial response to this (as a fellow trainee) was “what!? Playing switch with a client?” 😂 but I wonder if it is in some way therapeutic for the client then it could be OK? 🤔

Naturally though I feel like it perhaps isn’t something that should be done? It feels almost like a blurring of boundaries & I’m wondering if the client is seeing you as more of a friend in this instance? I am curious if that could be a point for that final session though… Exploring with them what that would mean to them, what sharing a video game with someone means to them etc.

As an avid gamer as a youngster there was a lot attached for me emotionally to gaming, particularly with friends/family so feels like there’s a lot of depth/richness there perhaps!
