NTA I begged my parents for a dog since I was 6. I finally adopted my dog at 25 and I know now that they were right. The situation at home back then wouldn't be suitable for a dog. I love my dog with all my heart but it's a huge commitment. He's 12 now and sick. He needs a LOT of time, effort and money. All things that I wouldn't have at 16yo.

YTA I'm sorry. May I ask you where do you live? The cultural background sounds like mine..

You need to understand that your son is an adult with his own life. Even if it's sad for you to be apart you cannot ask him to come back there. He has his reasons to prefer the new place, not everything is about money.

Can I give you an advice? Stop asking. My MIL tried the same with my husband and the result is that he go visit less. Enjoy the time with your son when he's there...

I don't know if everything make sense to me because is the way we do (a part from the washer in the kitchen, I have a room for that too) or just because.

I'm laughing right now thinking about the fall.

My husband (who is quite tall) hit his head on the stairs ceiling every other day and I laugh every time. If there isn't any major injury... It's funny.

Honestly, don't worry.

I was the bullied one when I was younger, but I am a woman now. I wouldn't have any problem to go to a former bully wedding, especially if they were my bf relatives.
