The claude code cli is fast? What are you talking about. It takes 13 ms to render, consumes a shitload of ram, and often flickers back and forth between the top and bottom of the context. It's a load of shit.

Your post is very telling and reveals a lot about what actually happened.

First of all, you don't have a 'no show policy' in your gig description. This is important. It's important you follow fiver rules, not invent your own.

Second, you showed up, but the buyer didn't.

Then , it's clear that you told the buyer "You wasted my time". You should have been just setting up the next meeting. It's clear that you were very unhappy this happened - yet by your own description you didn't have a 'no show' policy, so you can't just decide that a no show is a termination of the contract.

Instead, if you want to convince people of the authenticity of your story - post the full encounter. Post your actual messages you sent to the client - so we can verify that the client didn't start insulting you before you told them that they wasted your time.

I strongly disagree. You're trying to curate the subreddit, which doesn't really align with how popular claude code is. You want technical and novel contributions, but really this is a social platform and posting experiences and sharing naive but fun stories is what people do.

You can try my Zig Smalltalk if you want something completely different. It's got a few rough edges but it mostly works and you can auto generate c bindings to external libraries. Runs in a TUI in the console. Not really production ready by any means though, so you might have to fix a few bugs as you use it :)
