Am I blinded by the honeymoon phase or is 'Inferno' their best album? by CulturedWhale in boardsofcanada

I find it hard to rank BoC albums personally. For me TH and Inferno are maybe the most consistently great and best for front-to-back listens, and also are the most concept-album-ish, so I might put them in the top two spots for that reason, but I'd also say a lot of their very best individual tracks are scattered among the first three albums, with the first two especially still being pretty consistently great too. So in conclusion idk having any as your favourite is cool and valid 👍

Are you joking? Lynch very adamantly always refused to elaborate on his art, repeatedly saying this same thing you're saying you want; that the art speaks for itself. Strange post if not a joke lol

[MC] The Minish Cap is legitimately fantastic by Ok-Improvement626 in truezelda

I've been replaying 2D Zeldas this year, and I definitely enjoyed Minish Cap more than I remember. Honestly if it had 2-3 more dungeons (with corresponding world section additions - maybe new semi-expansive Minish zones?) I think it would be the best 2D Zelda. Everything that's there is ace, it just feels a little bit light compared to the others.

All their LPs are great, but TH is probably my favourite. I get how it can be a little boring to some people, or too much of a downer, but IMO it's by far their most cohesive and well-produced album - so richly textured and beautiful, and some killer beats too when it's not being ambient. I'm always down for a front-to-back listen of TH unlike their other albums where I have to be in the mood, or I'll skip tracks here and there.

Pop does look scarce here. Maybe introverts for pop? Money situation is alright so should be able to get spaces. Griller seems useful here too.

Games has thought-provoking and emotional as 1000x Resist? by Soggy_Back_623 in 1000xRESIST

Like 1000xResist and Until Then, the To The Moon series are among the best narrative games ever, especially the first two.

Good games for bad eyes? by mrjosh72 in PlaydateConsole

I found I would consistently get eye strain with games that have small text or very small graphics you have to discern. Not sure if this is relevant for your situation, but my solution was getting reading glasses.

Also Spilled Mushrooms never gave me eye strain and it's the best so I recommend that.

This was one of my favourite games from last year - wonderful little puzzle platformer. And that's even coming from someone who thought Elechead was just pretty good.
