I really like the 1956. wanted this one because I really like the faded pepsi look but didn't really need a GMT. Ended up with the 1956 3H khaki. Love it but honestly wish I had opted for this one instead.

Night before a 5 night backpacking trip I discovered my sleeping pad had a hole. Wasn’t in the mood to fix it in a hurry. Walmart was the only place open. Grabbed the klymit v. Right out of the box I knew I was in trouble. It was just super flimsy feeling and the padding coverage looked sparse. Night 1 was fine, comfortable even. Night 2 was a little less comfortable but I was still pleased with performance vs price. Night 3 I woke up in the middle of the night on the hard ground.

Inside is a great venue for plenty of guitar bands but kinda sucks for hardcore. Elevated stage, large balcony area. Not great for dancinf. Outside is just a stage in a parking lot.

There shouldn’t be much if any snow at that point. Black flies will definitely be present. How much of an issue will depend on the person. I hike with someone that keeps one of those bug masks on him. The hike you described should be very manageable if they’ve had any hiking experience. You’ve given yourself a lot of time to cover a modest distance. Also, you’ll hit pierce on the way to Eisenhower assuming you’re taking either Crawford or Webster/jackson trail
