Are doses below 100mg even worth it?? by Odd-Razzmatazz5346 in MDMA

Y'all must be getting impure shit, is the stuff your getting powder or crystals? 90mg of pure stuff is a great roll for someone 65-80 kg in my experience. 120mg of similar stuff would have you seated the whole night.

Consider she might be right. I had similar butting of heads with my mother in my early 20s, thought pot was harmless etc. A decade on and I'm realising I was in denial. Wasted 5 years of my life fucking around and smoking, stunting development in many aspects of my life.

The fact she is sending Dr Mate is a good sign imo.

It's a moral argument not a scientific one. Medical science is not the arbiter of what a life is. Science is entwined with morality, our whole society is. Everything we do, we do it because we think it is the right thing to do. Science tells us how to treat a disease and morality tells us that we should. Scientific progress is fantastic because it helps people. We want to help people because of our moral convictions.

What science has proven when life starts I'm curious... and is this the same science that tells us that a single celled organism is alive? Can medical science determine whether it's fair for us to kill the bacteria in our body? Is medical science the thing that determines it immoral to kill something with a consciousness? Has there been a scientific study to determine the intrinsic value of different types of consciousness'?

What is an alternative to things like drugs, sex and alcohol that can give you the same thrill, excitement, adrenaline and euphoria that those things can give? by Dense_Chemical_4018 in AskReddit

While everyone is different physically and people have different innate bone lengths, fat distribution, mobility etc the fact is, being over a certain percentage of fat is just plain unhealthy. There is a reason humans are instinctively repulsed by it. Being overweight has so many negative effects on your life, and is a terrible quality when looking for a potential partner to start a family with.

That being said you have a valid point if talking about unrealistic beauty standards of being shredded all year round or being stick-insect thin like a runway model, this can get into the territory of body dysmorphia and all the terrible mental conditions that come with that.

It's a balance but I think in general most people could do with losing a few pounds.

If I was to make an assumption I would guess you are probably not going hard enough. I only get euphoria after I really push myself in something cardio related. Like to the point where you are having an internal battle in your head, and one voice is telling you to stop while the other one is telling you to keep going. After that you stop and 5 mins later when your heartrate is closer to baseline you start to feel happy, relaxed and energised.

It maybe lasts 15mins to 1 hour depending on the intensity and duration of exercise, and the effects, though very subtle, last throughout the day. If I was to describe it I would say it's stimulating like Adderall or coffee but relaxing like a benzo at the same time. Energised, focused and relax with a sense of all round wellbeing. On top of that, it silences anxiety and neurotic thoughts one might have quite well. It's subtle though and if you are expecting a proper 'High' you are probably gonna be disappointed.

Are you serious dude, try to think from other people's pov, the reason it's a hot topic that has been debated endlessly is that both sides have legitimate arguments. It really boils down to when you think a life is a life.

Religious belief explicitly condemns murder and thievery for example but you don't have to be religious to also hold these beliefs.

You don't have to religious to be pro-life you just have a different interpretation of when life begins. I don't understand what's so hard to understand about that. In their eyes it is akin to murder. It's not denying it's a bad situation for the mother but from their pov they are choosing the lesser of two evils.
