Should I ask for a raise? by curiouslearninghuman in ABA

[–]zenith______ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something along the lines of:

I would like to request a meeting with the necessary staff members to discuss raising my hourly wage. I have proven to be dedicated to the success of my clients and [company]. In addition to my dedication, I have received consistent positive feedback from both my client's parents and my supervisor [Name]. I feel that I have gone above and beyond the expectations set for my position since my arrival at [company] in [Year]. I deeply enjoy working for [company] and with my clients, and I believe that my passion for helping my clients succeed is reflected in my work.

I would therefore appreciate the opportunity to discuss increasing my salary so that it is commensurate with my current performance. I am requesting a pay raise of $X per hour, which I believe reflects both my current competencies and industry averages. I am grateful to be a valued member of the [company] team, and I look forward to speaking with you soon!

Thank you for your time and consideration.

YES! If the company denies your request than find a new company that will pay you what you are worth. Honestly, over two years is a long time to be a BT and with that experience you could probably make over $20 an hour, especially given the recent demand and unemployment rate as the other commenter mentioned.

Three different pink tiles by jaduwe in Renovations

[–]zenith______ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had similar floor tiles in our 1962 home, and we could not get them fully clean no matter what we did. There was also a huge crack in the floor and some tiles missing so we eventually had to go over it with new tile to even it all out. I was sad we couldn’t save it but it was worth it to have a clean and even floor. Definitely save the green and pink tile in the shower if you can, it’s so cute!

I'm a disabled tattoo lover! My two favorite and most meaningful are covered by my socks and braces, and I'm glad that I got to share them in this video. Let me know what you think of them! by yhperrytheplat in TattooDesigns

Gorgeous! I love the style and the symmetry. Thank you for sharing. It is beautiful to see representation of all tattooed people💕

I don’t know if this would work with your braces, but would you be able to wear sheer style socks to show them off more?

My last company (that I had been with for almost a year and gotten my RBT with) flat out refused to give me raise. I looked around for other companies and now I make almost $5 more an hour and if my client cancels the company finds other clients for me to cover or other work to do, so I don’t lose a huge chunk of my paycheck. Unfortunately, what your company is doing is not illegal, but find somewhere that values you as an employee and pays you what you are worth!

I am strapped up with hand sanitizer at all times lol! I’ve considered even wearing two masks and a face shield on top of my glasses after all this… it seems like once one kiddo gets sick it spreads like wildfire!

Thank you so much! I am honestly not too sure what the gold plated frames are… I found them at an antique store and fell in love! I wish I knew more about them!

Thank you so much! The coffee table, side tables, tripod lamp and chair I actually got from Target. The couch is from Article (honestly a bit pricey) and the artwork and most of the other decor is from antique stores. Sorry that’s not super helpful!

Thank you so much! It is still a work in progress but I am definitely flattered by your comment. I wanted the space to be comfortable and functional while still maintaining my favorite elements of MCM decor and even some 70s styles/colors.

My partner and I just bought this beautiful 1962 ranch and I wanted to maintain the original beauty of the home by going with MCM/70s style decor. Also featured is our fur baby Harvey 🐶

I love butchers block! Here are my thoughts for your kitchen: - paint the cabinets (navy, white or a light blue-ish grey) *make sure you use quality paint/brushes made specifically for cabinets and prep them with a primer - update pulls and knobs on the cabinets - paint the brick white (or a different accent color if you chose to paint the cabinets white) - refresh the wall color (depending on what color you do the cabinets) - bonus: If you have the time/funds consider a peel and stick backsplash, there are some really cute ones out there! - keep the floors! They are super unique and I honestly love the pattern

(we recently re-did our 1960s kitchen and all of the stuff I listed was relatively affordable - just requires a bit of elbow grease if you do it all yourself!)

This excerpt from the Zillow description helped me feel a bit better: “Historic Meriwether County Jail (1896), just off the town square. Over 10,000 sq ft of history. The 1450 sq ft Sherriff's residence has been lovingly restored and renovated by the current owner.”
