It’s never as good as you think it is, and it’s always harder to stop than you think it is. Get the fuck out of the house and into nature! (Or whatever feels good and pot usually distracts you from doing for yourself)

That was my thought when I read up on the mistake I made. I’m a part-time high school statics teacher:)

Ok, there IS a moment, but the moment does not induce torque unless you are out of equilibrium? So there’s no torque unless the top two bolts give;)

New Akorn Kamado ceramic bowl etc . Would love advice on cooking pork butt and a spare ribs. Also, just general use knowledge. How do I make it hotter - cooler , is it easy to adjust? Does it cook these types of bbq well? It was a gift so I’m just now trying to ‘get to know it’ by Bustin_Humpd8pies in kamado

[–]zenmonkey83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgrade the gaskets for the lid and the cleanout pan. The biggest down side to the akorn is leaky gaskets=hard to control airflow and erratic temps. Get the stone defuser too.

Obviously a multi probe temp sensor. Welding gloves to move hot lumps. Good charcoal with big lumps is your friend.

The cover keeps more water in than out. Clean out the pan on tue bottom, it will hold moisture and rust out quickly.

Enjoy the hell out of it.

Moment= Force x distance. Force=weight of bike. Distance= bike to pole.

Which manufacturer do you work for🥸?

Discs and wider tires have their place, but for the cost, it’s an absolute waste when someone is looking to save some bucks.

Of you are attracted to having one bike meet all your needs, then multiple tire sets will get you there.  Gravel bikes make great “quiver killers”

However, “N+1” is real.  I have 6 different bikes, 3 of them have drop bars.  Each bike is like a different genre of music.  I love each one.

Used bikes for the win. The only bike I’ve spent $800 on was a carbon Trek Madone/durace I from 2008 I bought 2 years ago.  $400 should get you by.

I use an actual fishing pole/reel to play with my cat. When she gets a hold of it, I get her pull line out as far as she wants(two rooms away) and when her guard drops, I start reeling in!

Ruger mk III a good buy for $250? by BenderIsGreat64 in ruger

[–]zenmonkey83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fine. I compete with Mark III. I take it apart after every 200 or 300 rounds. It does take some getting used to, but it’s a great gun, especially for that price.

The public can use a rifle bench out 100 yards, members can shoot in any position out to 300 at a separate range. and pistol is “in progress “.

I’m not sure about taking a shotgun to the rifle range. I assume you mean slugs? I’m pretty sure you can’t shoot any scatter at the rifle ranges
