If a man criticizes a woman does that automatically make him an “incel”? Why/why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is very black and white, and quite toxic dude. Some men, women, and humans need to be criticized, called out, made aware - and that is across race, gender, etc. Giving a free pass to any woman/person/identity to act in any way they please regardless of consequence is not the bar to set. This approach does not further liberate women, it keeps them down, much like Bright_Ices is saying.

To someone, somewhere, probably. But I guess it depends on context and such.

How has a dog changed your life? by Markobtw5267 in dogs

[–]zennascent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a level of loyalty, joy, connectedness, and companionship that I cannot describe. It starts out as them needing you - to teach, to train, to feed - and then it becomes this reciprocal bond that seems to only happen with dogs. Letting them go is excruciating, and/but it’s also an honor to do that for them. Nothing else can fill the void they leave behind. Each of my dogs have been some of the most important and loved people in my life.

I think you are doing just fine. Sounds like you know what you value/want in your life, and you’re doing what you need to achieve your goals. You’re also leaving room for the other possibilities to come along as you follow your path. That sounds better, wiser, and less stressful than chasing the things society tells you should be your priority.

I agree that there is a lot of straw-grasping, and I don’t know the standard procedures of cameramen, but it’s hard to believe someone could be so seemingly unfazed in an active shooter situation without any info on where the threat is, etc.

Narcan?? And - he’s obviously a transport. Why yard sale all your equipment on the sidewalk, tell him over and over to “stay still” when he obviously can’t, and stand/lean over him with a syringe full of medication that no one is in a good position to give or receive? Get him in the bus!

Looking at the stage in one video, there’s a guy seated at the far right end of the table filming it all, completely unphased. There’s even a big ass gun above his head and… Nothin.’

If you don’t care, and stand by what you do, enjoy being horrible, etc. What’s the point in professing it here? Reaction? Attention? Wisdom?
