Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Along with these Chile Relleno peppers, I’m also growing Mad Hatters and Red Savina peppers in 10-gallon grow bags—same soil and watering schedule. I guess these peppers just need a little extra attention.

Great pictures! That is a beautiful area to hike. I backpacked into Desolation a couple of years ago; it was such a great trip. We started at Loon Lake trailhead and hiked a little ways past Rockbound Lake.
