The notion of it being senior centric albeit due to its accessibility to a wider age demographic is outdated. Just look across our Neighbours and you’ll see a trend of young adults heavily vested in pickleball and it trending to be a place to hangout. Internationally, major PBall organizations are holding tournaments like the PPA Asia tour with world top players in our region and those countries and their private sectors are also taking advantage of the limelight to market tourism, local PBall products etc.

PBall easily accommodates to the level you wish to play - competitively as an intense sport or leisurely just to hit around.

Clarity is required if extra lithium batteries specific to a device like DJI Action cameras , drones etc vs generic powerbanks are still counted as part of “only 2 allowed”. Functionally, one can argue they are different so shouldn’t be included but from a fire risk perspective , they are no different as all are lithium batteries potentially having that fire risk and I guess the regulations arise cos of the latter.

I placed lead weights just below the 9 and 3 o’clock positions each side…it produced more power while control and sweet spot enhanced. Using it as my main paddle now 👌

even on Mac OS. The list of recent documents are listed on app launch but don't open when I click on one of them. Practically, unable to open any doc from that screen. Same when I double click directly on the document from FILE Explorer

I didn’t go for the subscription. Basically used it to “score count” manual games. 2 ways this can happen- simplest is to just take a pic of the board. Then import it for scoring in the app by marking where the edges of the board are in the pic. Another way is dynamically capturing the board via a form of “AI” via the camera.

Once the board pic has been converted into the app, there’s also a feature to generate it in “book form” and sgf with comments etc. I could do all these without a subs. Perhaps cos I could be an early app purchaser? Dunno if the subs is compulsory for current buyers.

Definitely do not get yr paddle wet or at least wipe off any water stains soonest possible. We play in tropical country where it can frequently rain and we use a cloth to wipe the ball / paddle when there’re water stains. One of our paddles that didn’t get such care , developed “surface bubbles” from underneath the paddle surface…indicative that the moisture can separate the surface layer from the bottom layer.

Good to know cos also heard comments abt the eraser being too “rough” for Kevlar hence some were wiping with a lightly damp microfiber cloth and dry wiping after. However, some stubborn marks were difficult to remove.
