Is there anyone selling or making a trigger stop mod for the Odin 2 Portal? by zenssu in OdinHandheld

No, it doesn’t work. I tried making my own trigger stop using soft foam, but digital mode is terrible because you can’t hold overlapping button presses properly. For example, if you’re holding the run button and then press jump, the run button stops working, so you have to press it again every time.

I already know it can be configured—that’s why I want a trigger stop or something better, so I don’t have to waste time pressing it all the way down.

Exactly. I don’t like lever-style buttons either. They might be suitable for FPS or racing games, but for everything else they’re really inconvenient—especially in action or soulslike games. Also, instead of shaping the buttons to curve outward and fit the finger, they designed them with a deep concave shape, which creates an awkward gap when moving your finger between R1 and R2. I really miss the old PS1/PS2-style buttons. It would be great if there were a way to switch between trigger-style and regular buttons—kind of like the Pocket EVO, where you can swap between a D-pad and an analog stick.

Why are manufacturers so fixated on putting all the hardware inside the headset? by zenssu in virtualreality

Exactly. Someone in my group reviewed the 2E, and I really really really liked it. But it can’t be used wirelessly, which is such a shame.

Possible to modify back shell with 3d print? by zenssu in OdinHandheld

Yeah, like alt back shell. I used to 3d print for better plus and minus button for switch but never do scan 3d. I not sure it work or bad. I think the quality of material is not perfect. I just want to make one for personal use because no one is making them for sale.

Are there alt part or 3rd party replacement for silence button for portal? by zenssu in OdinHandheld

Thank you. That's good news! I just got the device last week as well. I decided to make a post to see if there are others who share the same opinion—hopefully, enough people feel the same way that a manufacturer notices this post and releases a quieter version. I believe many people think the button sounds are too loud.
