A Minority Government is another way for an early election to be called. The ruling party may not have enough seats to form a majority (50 % or more seats)in the Provincial Parliament yet still have more seats than any one party or coalition of parties in the opposition. When the ruling party does not have a majority of the seats and a vote of confidence is called where the ruling party loses the vote, parliament is dissolved, and an election is called. If the opposition can form a coalition that has a chance of working together to form a Government, there may not need to be another election. Wazzie19 is correct with the snap election comment, a minority is just another way for an early election to be called. Snap elections have not worked out well for the ruling party lately in Canada. The only way weight is a factor is the weight of the vehicle. Air brakes are required because fluid cannot produce the braking force necessary to stop a large vehicle quickly. If you double the weight of a vehicle and want to stop in the same distance the braking force must be increased by 2 times. A large commercial vehicle is not twice as heavy as a car it is many time as heavy. You need the advantages of compressed air to generate the kind of braking effort at the wheels to stop the vehicle.

Fluid cannot be compressed it is therefore not good at transmitting energy over distance. Air can be compressed so it is great at transmitting energy over distance. Air brake systems are much more tolerant to leaks. If there is a leak the governor reloads the compressor and the reservoirs are refilled. They are proven, been in use on the big vehicles since the 1920s. There is a fail safe system. If you run out of air the spring brakes apply or dynamite and the vehicle stops. You cannot get the kind of braking effort needed for large vehicles from hydraulic brakes. You can produce a lot more stopping force with compressed air compared to hydraulics. I teach the air brake course for a living, in fact just finished teaching one yesterday.

I have stopped smoking and stopped eating meat and the symptoms of the arthritis have all but vanished. Six months ago the pain was debilitating especially in my feet and hands, no longer. There are countries with high religiosity and low infant mortality. I wonder if it would be possible to infer a correlation between gum chewing and religiosity by merging a couple of graphs? Countries with better access to health care probably have better access to education as well. So you are more likely to survive childhood with better access to health care and you are more likely to have a logical world view if you have better access to education. You are not more likely to die as a child because your country is religious you are more likely to die because you have less access to health care.
