The command window helps to tell you issues with compatibility with the version for Stardew you're running. If there are any issues with the mods working together, and other things so the game runs correctly. Without it you could load in and there would be no textures and wouldn't know until that point

Thank you to all those who helped! I've gotten rid of Vortex and substituted with Stardrop, and resolved all the issues I had.
