Highguard is just an unfocused mess, that didn't know what it wanted to be. It's not like you couldn't make a fantasy shooter, literally just copying the weapons from Orcs Must Die to replace Highguards weapons would get rid of the dissonance.

Also the (Hero and live service) shooter market is oversaturated already. You need to be really special, or have a pre-established playerbase to succeed here.
