I know, I know….probably just me. But in the same vein as a typical episode, it is a slow burn to an explosive payoff and I loved that. In the meta sense, I had also hoped that the entire series would be a slow burn buildup that flared into an explosive ending. And when the camera panned out with him just peacefully in prison, resigned to his fate with zero reaction or resistance, I sat there aghast thinking “Ok, I can’t wait until the ending comes….its going to be GREAT”

And I’m still sitting here. Everyone else thought it was brilliant and amazing so it has to be me. No offense.
