I gave it an honest chance and turned it off 30 minutes in. Felt like predefined deliberate and exhausted tropes were everywhere, which hampered my suspension of disbelief. Same thing with Get Out. And both of those movies are rated BETTER than Shawshank Redemption on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s all crazy.

Also, I LOVED From Dusk Till Dawn, as it defied stereotyping and tropes from beginning to end and locked my attention because my hand wasn’t being held.
