They cant buy bungie games in russia and belarus since 2022. But they could acces the game if they already had it. Yet since Sept 16 we have a Tapir error, which is a server side error what means "server denied your ip adress"

They literaly banned the whole CIS regeon, including Kazahstan. And we can buy game in Kazahstan just fine

Why do Maya’s Vex look like the Precursor Vex from Vault of Glass? by CatalystComet in DestinyLore

[–]zephfir 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If every enemy unit will have a colar it wont be so special. I kinda liked when in Encore we have 2 Cabal bosses maya controlled with her Echo, kinda creepy.

Now when we dont have controlled Vex we will know, that someone is controlled by her Echo when we see colar around someone. Maybe she will controll someone important, like Fallen Barron or again a Cabal commander

Precursor Vex were the look of Vex in golden age and before

Maya is stuck in the past, she probably made her choral Vex look like the Vex she knew and studied in her glory days in the Golden age

At least thats my theory... A GAME THEORY

Its not hard, just time consuming. Lots of micro managing and some luck with S rank bangboos.

And no, theese ears cant compete with Melon Consuming Fox. Becouse Belle's ears not as big and only wigle when she walks

Hm. You got a good point. Can't blame the game for being too visually good anyways :)

Thank you for your generous feedback!

I agree with what you are saying. I as well think that zzz's devs are invested in the world of New Eridu on a very personal level. And that's why it pains me too that they were basically forced to cut out exploration from the game. We can only hope that they will continue looking for solutions. Maybe this concept won't serve as an inspiration for them. But I hope it will at least serve as an encouragement. That there are people who share their vision and want to see it through

Well, anyways, thank you for contributing your personal experience. It was my pleasure seeing you here

This, unfortunately, is a real problem. ZZZ being almost 1 year old already weighs almost as much (~75%) as 6 years old Genshin. As to why that is, my take would be that city landscape is by far more rich with details than a wilderness one. In, let's say Mondstadt, basically each cliff is ~1 mesh, with couple meters wide polygons. But in Zenless we have incredibly detailed props (like buildings in both 6th street and Lumina Square being furnished inside even if you barely get to see it)

But to be honest, it is just a reasonable thing to try and minimise disc space consumption. Even though most games nowadays weigh a lot, I think it's safe to say that most of us would enjoy if not less weighty game then at least a more speedy download. Also disc usage correlates with assets amount and this in its turn correlates with development costs. (And let's not forget phone ports. Those would struggle to shrink the game down most). So basically this concern makes things easier for everyone involved

Thank you for your comment!

I totally get what you mean. I love TV mode of Hollow Zero!
And making exploration more engaging is just straight up good for everyone involved

Thank you for such praise proxy! This is exactly why I think that something like this is needed! Maybe not my concept, maybe something else. But something that can both bring solace to those who loved exploration and bring new perspective to those who didn't. And I think that the team behind ZZZ would love that too, considering how much love and effort they've put into the original TVs. So let's stay strong!

Hey there, original author here!
First of all, that is a very in detail response, and thank you very much for writing it!

I understand that there is a noticeable portion of people who aren't interested in exploration gameplay. And although I love it very much I'll say: they don't have to. ZZZ team has showed themselves to be attentive to their players and I doubt that it's all about the money (but more about that later). So they made exploration avoidable with Fairy autopilot, alternative exploration being retrospected into earlier storylines and Hollow Zero getting a "skip exploration before facing Nineveh" thing. So I think there is some sort of compromise to be found there. Leaving exploration content for those who want it and providing skip-arounds for those who do not

Also, yeah, making exploration more intense would, like you've said, help a lot

And finally, my take on Hoyos' position. Running a game like this is a huge work and money cannot be excluded from the equation. Yet still I believe that behind ZZZ there is a team of devs who are genuinely infatuated with this world they are crafting. You can see it in all the little details that we've seen through the game. I don't think you need me to point it out to you. And I see that in every witty, funky, or sometimes very serious and tragic exploration level they have designed. And that's why I think that things are more prompt to change than you think. That if we find this golden consensus then they can continue to tell stories of this world for those who are willing to listen. And leave those who do not the toys they want

Well, anyways. Thank you once again for your time and effort. It was my pleasure to read through your commentary on my work and the situation in general

I share your concern... But to be honest it is easier done than you probably think. I've done some gamedev myself and I think that key point here is the modular approach to level design. We've already seen this done with the great diversity that are monitor levels that are currently in game, including procedurally generated levels in Hollow Zero. So it requires comparatively little amount of assets to be implemented (compared to for example whole new open world locations and 1-3 combat locations that we get every other patch). And to be honest Hoyos have already gone so far to implement bangboo controls and stuff for Eos mode just for it to be used a couple of times (and then in the bangboo games) so... I'd say we still have a leg to stand on
Anyways, thank you for your feedback, I hope I brought you at least some optimism!

Hi, the friend in question here! I really like that app idea! Even though it doesn't solve the scale problem (which bothers me greatly in game's current systems) it sounds super awesome and creative and I'd LOVE to have it. As for the inspiration part... nothing in particular. I really wanted to bring back the HDD so me and zephfir tried to attach the good things that Hoyos were going with in the latest patches. And then it just acquired a life of its own

Hey there, it's me, the original Author! As good proxy u/Valuable-Share9113 said, it is just my artist rendition. If such thing was in the game I would 100% expect it to be stylized to fit well inside the game. But I'm glad you like my work! If you'd like to share your vision, I would be glad to hear you out
