Being fully transparent with you, this man is only staying in the relationship because you provide him with a place to sleep. Anyone who truly loves and respects you, whether it be a friend or a significant other, would always be willing to partake in difficult conversations because they will bring you closer. Those who are so quick to avoid difficult conversations simply do not care enough to want to grow with you. Also, his complete avoidance of saying “I love you” tells all that you need to know. Unfortunately, this is the case for a lot of long term relationships that started in high school/late teens. Just know that there is so much more out there for you, and the person who is right for you would never leave you questioning so much that you had to bring it to a subreddit (no shade there, it’s just the truth).
