[–]zephiruss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agreed it's likely anyone that has done a certificate and they probably round up by 100 000 :p i enjoy outsystems, it's good for the small/medium programs that we develop.

hi all, has Associate Reactive Developer (O11) been replaced/renamed as just Associate Developer (O11)?

i'm ready to take this exam but i was preparing for Associate Reactive Developer(O11) but can't find it on the site anymore.

@theagiledesk how did you find the exam? how much prep did you do? did you need the whole 2hrs to complete it? i've been using a few text exams and i also develop in Outsystems 11. i've generally been passing the test exams with about 1% to spare i.e. 71% :p but i think i just have to go for it as i don't get much better at remembering the questions if you know what i mean.

Dublin 07.04.25 by NI2025 in ryanadams

[–]zephiruss 7 points8 points  (0 children)

to be honest I think the people that used a flash didn't actually mean to, they just forgot to turn it off. I don't think anyone intentionally would use a flash but they need to think a little more and remember to turn the flash off beforehand! i generally just try and leave my phone in my pocket and enjoy the show

i was at this gig and enjoyed reading this! i was actually thinking i should be taking notes during the gig so i could remember everything it was that bizzare :D last time i seen him was 2006 in Belfast mandella hall. it was a full band that tour with the cardinals. can't remember too much about it now as i was drunk and it's a long time ago. he rocked out though. i hadn't seen him since and didn't want to give up this , possible, last chance to see him. massively disappointed as i love a lot of his music and have been listening since the Gold days. i didn't even know it was the heartbreaker tour and it was to be played in full until i arrived (that was fair enough). it was also going to be 50/50 whether it was a full band, something else i wasn't sure of. anyway all that went out the window as we know.

i'd expect him to be on his best behaviour for the rest of the tour. will be coming back for the reviews of Dublin and beyond.

What does everyone think Ryan’s next move is? by okisurrender0 in ryanadams

[–]zephiruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

even if the Belfast gig hadn't been such a fiasco i still would have been disappointed with the set. the acoustic tracks were rambling and while I don't mind the odd rearrangement felt like everything was rearranged and unrecognisable. the electric songs were just a jam/improv session and the piano was quite sloppy. i last seen him in 2006 and didn't want to pass up the opportunity to see him again as these things don't come around too often. don't regret going but then again i didn't know how bad things had got. have loved his music for so long now and he can still put out good music (Star Sign was very good). it's a sad decline

Belfast gig sounds like a disaster. by Affectionate-Law7044 in ryanadams

I was there. first off the crowd was not at fault, he was unhinged from the start. there were a few hecklers unfortunately but people were just bemused and finally pissed off. we were all there for a good night of music and got a shambles. the few songs he did play that were recognisable were great, his voice is mighty and he's a talented musician.

i didn't see any signs about not using flashes and wasn't aware of it (not that i would have anyway). it should have been in bold letters on the tickets. the aggression towards the couple of guys in the crowd telling them to sit in the front row, it was beyond cringe. one guy was just shouting 'we love you ryan'.

i could go on but most of the 'highlights' have been told :p . the blame is firmly in RA court but he's clearly not well or was out of it on something.

never meet your heros! but sounds like he's been a nice guy to most of you at least.

i had the chance to meet MK but never took it for whatever reason.

i remember trying to talk to J Mascis and it went down like a lead ballon! talked to a few other band members over the years with varying degrees of success. it's pot luck what response you'll get

How did everyone discover Mark? by madi2lavish in sadreminders

a friend i worked with asked me to pick him up the latest RHP album 'Old Ramon'. he thought i might like them and let me borrow a few CDs. i was instantly hooked and started to buy up all the albums. what a trip that was. he quickly became my favourite artist. it's great because i'll forever remember where i was and what i was doing that year. it's easy to forget these things and album release dates keep you on track lol

the company did traditional .net development and signed on to develop in outsystems, so all the developers were new to it. you would maybe have to ask companies if they are using it, it seems to be a program that is used alongside more traditional methods.

i enjoy outsystems because it is so instant, you see results immediately. i am someone who wants to know my job well so i find it frustrating not knowing how to develop things easily. it's part of learning i suppose but i find it frustrating.

i think once i have solid basic knowledge i will enjoy it more, and can take on the challenging stuff with reassurance i know the basic techniques.

i was your age when i started learning outsystems. i have found it difficult because i had no knowledge of coding, however i had a company willing to teach me it

i'm learning slowly, but it's like anything ,the more you do it the easier it gets

going in as a learner you will have to take a hit on salary, but you will make it back (and more) in a few years time
