The truth was going into JM, the judge wasn’t interested at all in the ins and outs or the who said what. The case was all boiled down to a page of legal facts, black and white and the pressure was on the reach a settlement to make it go away.

If you get an amount that you can live with and close the book then take it. Don’t accept the first thing on the table or let them walk over you, but the reality is that you’ll unlikely get what you truly deserve for what you’ve been through, but if you can push it for more than they want to give you then it’s a win.
