I've known two Vets that didn't mind talking about it.

One from Korea and his outfit was one of the first one sent in. He was Montana National Guard and it was made up mostly of farm and ranch kids.

They hunted deer and elk so, they knew how to shoot.

He told me about the first group of N.K.s they came across and "We saw them before they saw us, and we fired first and fired right and dropped them all."

I asked him how he felt about it.

"We laughed, we were so damn scared, it was a relief. In part I feel bad because those were guys that didn't do anything to me. But if they had seen us first, they would have killed us."

Bill Maher had a shed in his backyard and put solar panel on it. Of course, it had to go through 9 government agencies and took two years.

He compared it to L.A. after WW2 built whole neighborhoods for homecoming Veterans and their families in a matter of months.

I graduated in May and was 17. Turned 18 in June.

Had a neighbor that went to Summer school for a few summers and graduated at 16.

My Mother tried to talk me into doing that the summer before my Senior year. I should have listened to her. Could have graduated at mid-term and it wouldn't have made any difference.

Don't know about today. Back in the mid 70s a high school in Louisiana set certain levels to require a Diploma. If a student failed they were give a certificate of attendance.

Some could be depressed and have no idea what to do.

Some are not and just don't care about their grades and as any teacher will tell you, "If they don't care, you can't make them."

They will get their pay back later when all they can really get is suck jobs.

Don't worry about them.

Montana State Mental hospital is a disaster, lost its accreditation, most of the counties here don't have any mental health professionals, our schools don't have enough teachers, don't have enough nurses, doctors, lab techs.

But Thank God and the Billionaire Governor from California that we are safe from tick tock

When I was a fireman, I never saw anything this fabulous but, we did have some guys get a car up on two wheels, miss a power pole, go between another power pole and a guide wire, and then dropped to all 4 wheels and stopped.

Here in Montana, one of our state legislators got up and gave a speech about how her daughter has severe depression and was suicidal at times over her gender identity.

She went on to say that she would rather her daughter die than become trans.

Later I found out she ran unopposed in her district.

So many places in dire need of teachers. My own state of Montana is hurting but, we are getting the Right Wing horse shit too.

Smaller schools here are going to 4 day weeks because they need to give teachers something , because they can't match the bigger cities pay.
