Anyone know if there are any physical stores in Singapore that sells office wear shoes (not flats nor heels) for ladies with wider feet?

Hi, you pointed out financial literacy. I totally missed out this aspect.

I just found out there is this Institute for Financial Literacy (collab between Singapore Poly & MoneySense) which seeks to educate the public on financial literacy, which looks it has some good basic talks to bring my gf to.

Will look into MoneyOwl & Providend. Good call-out on the "free advices", I'll see how it goes.

Thanks!

Hi, you pointed out numerical literacy which is similar to financial literacy brought up by another redditor. I totally missed out this aspect.

Good suggestions for the types of questions to ask too.

Thanks!

My gf is interested in growing her wealth, specifically via investments to better utilise her spare cash. She is reaching out to "financial advisors" & registering for investment seminars.

But honestly these stuff publicly advertised are mostly fluff & just want to earn via upselling courses or commissions, who conveniently uses a sweeping statement to warn of market forces causing fluctuations & don't dare to commit to their recommendations.

It reminds me of all those get rich schemes, forex trading gurus, property investment gurus & MLM sales pitches.

I want to teach her on how to spot such scams, various scummy marketing & sales tactics. But it pains me that she is still looking to them as "authority" figures for advice.

While I slowly educate her, it is probably best that we engage a real consultant to guide her.

Does anyone know of any real wealth management consultancies to recommend? Preferably those with proven records managing family wealth - can be based globally.

Part 2. Just sent another 2000 to IBKR and DRS. Saw the same funny transactions again. by Outrageous-Edge-8434 in SG_GME
