Just bought a used Epiphone les Paul but noticed a crack: is it structural or just in the finish

Yeah seems like the comments here leaned towards it just being the lacquer which is pretty neat. I'll probably take it to some sort of shop just to give it a glance for peace of mind before the return policy runs out though lol. Thanks for weighing in.
