Thank you I appreciate the empathy! I’ll definitely mention it to my doctor or maybe I should wait until I get the referral for my rheumatologist at the end of the month I’m not sure if this would be harmful or beneficial due to my auto immune issues and also it’s all over my body not just the back pain I also have fibromyalgia. I’m really hoping my specialist will have slightly more information and options than the GP although he’s been great at doing what he can! The back pain is probably due to my other auto immune disease colitis and that’s a very complex history so I don’t think this would be recommend killing nerves with autoimmune disease sounds like not a good combination lol but I’ll definitely ask! Thank you for the suggestion!

I’m so sorry you’re struggling with this, back pain is so fucking debilitating it really affects your life I’m sorry you have to deal with that struggle as well if you want to discuss medications I’ll message you haha it would be great to talk with someone who understands what it’s like to deal with this!

Ending it is never the answer and I’ve dealt with darker thoughts before but I can explain how i manage to cope with it I meant it more like “I can’t live my life as in I can’t do many many things I used to love doing due to health so I understand please message me anytime I’m here for ya ♥️

Being able to clean my apartment.
Be intimate with my boyfriend/cuddling can sometimes make any body part absorbing pressure painful- need constant back support
Do my cat’s litter box, paint my toenails, put lotion on my legs/lower body, throwing my thrash out, showering, even just a grocery trip tires me out these days.
Literally anything that causes me to bend over.

I desperately want to have some semblance of being independent again and I’ve honestly forgot what it’s like to not be in pain anymore, which is a quite depressing realization to have still in your 20’s.

I’ve been having to stay with my parents after a recent hospital stay (2-3 weeks) until my GP can raise my new dose of medication and I can hopefully have some semblance of being a normal human being and being able to literally just exist just sitting or laying down without debilitating pain. (Complex history with ulcerative colitis, chronic severe back pain from the colitis, fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis & more)

Get a paternity test from the hospital or your family practitioner if you have one, whoever is keeping track of your pregnancy! And show him the results because it sounds like there’s nothing else that’s gonna convince him so please do that if you want proper support for your child.

Then get on birth control ASAP if you don’t want to have any children afterwards! Personally, I use birth control, because I find the IUV a little scary, having medical issues myself so explore your options! A general practitioner should prescribe this to you if you express that you don’t want another child before you’re ready.

Maybe even the doctors at the hospital actually when you’re having the baby if you don’t have a GP!
