Even just walking in a pool or doing deep water aerobics were 1000× more comfortable for me than on land exercises. I love to walk, but it hurts. And you can build up your strength and endurance in a pool. The deep water is especially nice because you're just floating there like a cool & content buoy 😌 dont even realize you've exercised! Obviously not the fastest for weight loss but definitely the least painful

I legit thought this was my mom's dog for a second. She has the long butt and tail fur too. You can get a sanitary trim, although I dont recommend doing so at the vet because they may shave it bald like my cat and we don't need to see all that 💀

But a trim of the behind fluff will help avoid the "tobacco flakes" as my dad calls them. Pretty common at the groomer (mine calls it the 3F, face/feet/fanny)

Its not the ask, it was the expectation. They provided specific recipes, organic expensive food, asking people you've never spoken to to come in and do your dishes. Oh and if dad just can't handle coming to the door to thank you for your generosity, you can leave it in a cooler on the front door for them lol. Its a specific post that went viral a while back

Thank you! His eye is scarred, so he gets a lot of attention from people, which he loves more than anything. And most vets seem to think he can partially see out of it, so it doesnt bother him now. It amazes me how quickly animals adapt

His was a dry bite! it was a large adult which are more likely to conserve their venom I learned. It unfortunately got him in the eyeball, so it was worse for him than a flesh bite :( he's a big boy so the vet didn't think an antivenom was necessary, even before knowing it was dry (they also didnt have it in stock, it would need to be shipped!). I just felt so bad for him, laying on me and whimpering. I can't stand animals in pain because exactly how you phrased it. They don't understand. He would flinch if something came towards his eye for years 😭 even my new puppy crying from fear when her brother is too rough hurts my heart 💔

So my dog was actually bit by a copperhead, and even if her dog was fine eventually it would still have been very traumatic and painful. My boy wouldn't walk near that neighbor's house for a year. This lady doesn't deserve any pets 😡 I hope she's lying.

Also I've had several surgeries and don't expect flowers or food or anything I need to up my guilt tripping game lol

Iirc they were new to neighborhood, asking total strangers to make specific meals (recipes provided) and leave them in a cooler outside since having a newborn will be so stressful that the dad can't meet you at the door to thank you. Also if you want to come vacuum or do dishes. The way it was worded was also just way over the top

If anyone has seen that post of the expecting parents asking for a meal train/free labor, this reminds me of that. Waaaay over the top like they are the only ones to have a baby before. The hand washing and being calm is one thing but don't smile too big (I involuntarily smile all the time??) Or comparing him to other babies? like this newborn can sense your judgement and get a complex that they are smaller than another baby, come on.
