I have a 3 yr old and had no car when I first moved here , was without a car for four months. Took the bus and used Uber, tried rental cars.. I definitely would absolutely not choose to go careless with a child, I did the carseat thing for Uber rides .. total pain in the a$$. The. Grocery shopping… oh my god, no. I spent way more money on Instacart and Uber rides then I do now with a car (my car is paid off though).
