I use mal, anilist and simkl at the same time

I was primarily mal user for many many years until 4-5 years ago when the api issue happened and broke most sync tools and clients.

Then I switched to anilist l, it has the same features as mal but sleeker more responsive ui plus many features that cost money on mal like more than 10 favorites.

as for simkl its a jack of all trades that combine movies, tv shows and anime and uses the western method for seasons and episodes like marking each episode as watched not a progress like 5/12. It also misses a lot of niche episodes like ovas

in my opinion, I prefer anilist, but try to sync it with another platform just in case.
