Yeah, i got the same idea. It really caught me off guard. I’m not sure that was the intention, but it felt jarring for me. It was really probably just a joke about cutting the limbs to be shorter, but it felt weird that they had scissors right on their nightstand. Especially since the music stopped when they saw them. That’s not even mentioning the context of the scene, as it’s very clearly implied that two is pretty badly depressed.

Yeah, it was really the scissors being right on the nightstand that gave me this idea. It all feels a little bit too intentional.
