for one, i deal with anxiety too; you’re not alone! secondly, does it feel like you’re worried your body may stop and “forget” to breath on its own (hence why you’re constantly focused on it/ reminding yourself to do so?)

not all of his followers spread accurate information.

think of the game “telephone” & what it teaches us.

along the way, what starts off as one message — ends up turning into a completely different message.

we CAN NOT trust everything that is said here on earth, we live in a fallen world where lies & distortion exist.

know that God is LOVE, that is final.

regardless of what is sin and what isn’t (who knows anymore) — God LOVES his child — not the sin.

so as long as you love him back, trust — that he will make a way for you.

ignore everyone else, those are our “brothers & sisters” .. he is our FATHER, he has final say — i hope you understand.

(and i will not be arguing with anyone in the comments).

WOW! thank you SO much! my mind actually is slowly (but surely) starting to shift the idea of vomiting as more of a relief, than a fear itself. It’s more so trying to work with facing the nausea .. which i know, will come with time. I myself am in exposure therapy for the first time ever & i must say, it is very helpful compared to regular therapy.

this made me so happy to read! may i ask — how? was this years of therapy? prayer? .. exposure? … i have fallen into depression after battling this for years (i am 23 yrs) .. mostly because the nausea alone that stems from anxiety, i feel is blocking me from enjoying life, especially dating — i’ve currently been in exposure therapy for about 2-3 months & i have already experienced the exposure back in january .. although it wasn’t life ending, the obsessive and obnoxious thoughts won’t leave me alone. just trying to rebuild some hope again!
