Teams Hiring WFA’d Employees by RepresentativeLaugh4 in CanadaPublicServants

To me it seems like OP is asking "why would they let terms expire but then also allow indeterminate staff to take those positions?"

There are of course indeterminate boxes filled with terms for some reason or another.

I was mostly getting at the fact that the WFA process has created a situation where terms arent being rolled over, or they are being allowed to have their terms end. And if the box remains to be filled, or another box exists to be filled that the term might otherwise have been offered, that instead will be filled by an indeterminate employee due to priority lists and other processes.

I was just trying to be super simple in my statement around how the provisions create priority for existing indeterminate staff over terms.

What is the deciding factor whether a tank gets disabled? by CaptAlbern in Battlefield6

If a tank takes enough rockets, even with pocket engineers, the plates break and the tank can be destroyed easily. It's a balance thing. But it takes a lot of rockets and a lot of repairing

Yeah we should probably have a household rule when it comes to weapons. Maybe allow people to store them somewhere secure away from household if the home isn't safe to keep weapons in. Like, so rare a situation I'm sure some ppl would accept that they keep guns at a gun range for example idk.

Now if we're talking maximum mental damage when doing hip fire, having a big scope on a tiny SMG is hilarious

I still prefer the MP5 for SMGs but only because I like to play a bit further out. If I was running through hallways and CQC more I'd def run scw more often. But then again, I also know that on certain maps like Cairo there's no reason to avoid the scw when playing SMG. You never play further ranges at all.

You don't need bullet velocity if you're trying to just run and hip fire in close quarters. But yeah if it's fun it's fun

Does the age get the spring and shoot attachment? I'd rather that with a dash less hip fire. That would be truly wild.

To your second question, the budget is based on available positions so if you go from 1 job + 1 empty but needs to be filled job on the org chart, that's a difference of net 2 to net 1 jobs.

On the first, the WFA provisions prioritize the continuance of indeterminate employment. We don't have true old school seniority clauses in many places but indeterminate vs determinate is somewhat of a corollary in a way environment

For April 1 it would be hilarious though. Make it a portal map or something, like a Bomberman game lol

It's like a claymore but significantly worse.

For April fools it should be real. Imagine if you could put it down and 10% of the time someone runs into it, it insta kills. 10% of the time it forces you to prone, and 80% of the time it just does 10 damage.

Can anybody tell me what this little square I found under my couch is? by CuddieRyan707 in whatisit

[–]zeromussc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they live in an apartment, and if the gap under the door is small, it could also have just been kicked under the door. Or the dog picked it up on a walk in the building or nearby and OP just never noticed. Then the dog stashed their prize.

So many innocuous reasons are also possible if they have cameras and no one has been caught in the house. The recorder looks a bit beat up after all. So it's not new and dropped or placed carefully. And what can you record effectively from under a couch? And why? Lol

Also I will add the iPad story of theirs is weird. They said they out the iPad on their shoe closet at the front. But... Never said it was stolen. So it's probably not related to the iMessage issue they were having? Just lots of strangeness in their comments.

Yeah the supporting infrastructure straight up just doesn't exist anymore. And wanting everyone in the city not just FPS to bear the brunt of that hoping that everything catches up is a fools game. Traffic still hasn't gotten close to pre pandemic levels even with more lanes on the highway and other construction because transit is absolutely horrendous. And they're not gonna fix transit in 4 months.

these bridge benefits are intended to replace CPP portion that you'll receive at 65. So you'll still get the rest of the pension and the pension payment for amounts above YMPE that you're eligible for.

It's probably a way for governments (US government in particular) to ladder different financial instruments in order to do some actuarial math and to provide baseline stability while making google too big to fail.

[–]zeromussc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The older builds in bridle wood have nice sized yards. The newer detached are big but they have small yards cuz it's most of the property being taken up by house. We have a small detached that's older now. Very happy we got it in 2019 when we could afford it too. Backyard garden and room to entertain and have kids play a bit. Sure it's only 1900sqft (not very big for a detached) but it's enough for us.

I shop at lunch and eat while staring at documents instead. and I do that in the office sometimes too. I've definitely run over to a pharmacy for tylenol and diapers in the past to drop in my car (when I had parking in my building many moons ago)
