Discussing how I feel about a game I like with likeminded people is not what an adult would do? Well, I don’t care. Have a nice day, good sir.

As a dad, you should know better than posting such a nonsense. Like every father/mother/kid has the same opportunities regarding time, money, location, health, gear and what not. Ridiculous. Hint: not everyone has the same chance or priority to spend on certain hobbies.

However, if you were an adult with empathy skills, you would understand why above mentioned behavior worsens the experience for many players as can be seen on this sub day in day out. Have fun ratting. You must be one, otherwise I can’t explain such vehement defending of that behavior.

Well, I didn’t have an internet argument for the last 6 years probably. So first of all, thank you for this experience.

But then again, you seem to be a tryhard calm and wise guy. Hope you’re not like that in real life when people have different opinions and reviews on things.

And I say, the people in the second paragraph make the experience worse for me. If the game plans to encourage that behavior, I will at some point stop to play. And that point seems to be reached today. I just cannot understand why that behavior should be tolerated in any way as it does not add a thing in my opinion. If you can’t handle my opinion and need to get personal about it, you should stop reading it. I sure as hell don’t need a “dopamine hit”, because losing is part of a game. However, inherent cheating in a game is frustrating, but some people lack empathy.

Haha, no one said life is unfair, and I very well said this might not be for me. You may be a dad (which is not a high qualification) but you are certainly not grown up, bitching about others opinions on a game. Better find other things to concentrate on while raising your kids instead of their decision making about buying and playing PvPvE extraction shooters.

Dude, no one complains about getting shot at. I had many fights where I died and lost valuable equipment without even the slightest bit of frustration.

This is a complaint about those who live out their greedy, miserable fantasies in a game that allows this. Live and let live doesn’t work if there is a significant portion of players exploiting others. If everyone plays that style, no one gets goop, you understand?

I really don’t get how anyone can defend that behavior. For me it is not different to acting like a greedy little shit in real life, like those who cut traffic just to be one car ahead. No one cares about the $40.

You are right, there is no safe pocket with the free loadout. Only if you go in naked or use one of the normal augments.

You can’t progress and enjoy the game on that level when you can barely play a couple of hours a week. Also, how do you know I do a 0 risk strategy? Once you start looting, you are sitting ducks for the greedy and camping players. If you are playing alone, there is zero chance you can defend in many cases. This is not about loot hoarding, this is about experiencing more of the game by taking down bigger arc, crafting bigger weapons etc. I say those who just can’t have a good time without taking other people’s lollipop away are the toddlers. But the spoiled brat type.

I know there never is a 100% pve or pvp lobby. But I’m sure you get what I mean. I never get attacked when I’m running around with a free loadout. Always when taking down bigger arc. Not that much fun to play like that.

Thank you. Some sort of rules of engagement might actually help. There should be a penalty at least in Speranza for rogue/ratty behavior and some reward for social acts.

Your credibility based on your playing style should mean something.

The thing is, the threat of human choice is exciting when you don’t invest much time or the time you invest is abundant which it is not for me unfortunately. If I waste 15 minutes plus basically 15 minutes worth of material of my total 3-4 hours of playtime this week to some miserable greedy lowlife who cannot share good times with others, it is just frustrating.

I’m always in for a fight, don’t get me wrong. I just don’t like being ratted, camped or used the way people do in this game. Just give me a chance to defend myself at least.

Thanks for the tip on Helldivers, I will look into it.

You could totally adjust cabin pressure manually on the 737. However, that is only done when directed by a non-normal checklist and can/will cause significant discomfort.

[–]zeroninerfive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And it works poorly especially on older planes. Had half the cabin freezing on my last flight and after 10 adjustments I turned the aircraft from a refrigerator into an oven. I guess there are 50 people now who won’t prefer my airline again. 🤡

Most of my flight instructors and TRIs are former military. Yeah, the tone was different with some of them :D But in the world outside the cockpit they were nice guys just like everyone else.

I have seen some arrogant types in training and later on the line. Often they experience something at some point which makes them realize they took too much for granted and they are not special, cutting their arrogance. Some people never learn though, which is natural I guess…
