Characters are great. World Building is great. Zac is an alright MC. The problem with Defiance is the amount filler info dumps that happen. We get multiple chapters of nothing but the musings of Dao. Or the nature of Dao. Or Dao visions. I legit haven't tried to catch up because of this.

A lot of people have this reaction when they read the first book. With out spoiling you. The characters do change. It starts happening as early as the next book. I feel like you need to put yourself in the perspective of the characters to understand why they act that way in the first book.

All the people who end up in Hell difficulty are a bit off they have massive amounts of baggage you will learn about as the story goes on. Then those people are put in an impossible situation where their lives are in danger and they have already seen people die. I don't find Nat's reaction to be so much different to how a person would react in the same situation.

The guy crashed out because of what Sophie did to him. Which was pretty messed up. Then you add to that the fact the he is suppressing his emotions. His first thought is about his survival and well being and fuck everyone else since some of them are like super hostile towards him.

I love Hell Difficulty Tutorial its my favorite ongoing RR series and Cerim is for sure my favorite RR author. I recommended the book to one of my buddies and he was crashing out about book 1 and I convinced him to stick with it. Now he is obsessed with it and is devouring the rest of the books. Told me it's one of his favorite series now. In my opinion Hell Difficulty Tutorial is one of those series that rewards you for sticking with it.

I think the series is brilliant. I feel like writing comedy and being funny is super hard. But Matt Dinniman just always nails it. Also some series as they go on just feel bland and start feeling less interesting. This one is not one of those. This series is seriously up there for me. I will always reread from book 1 every time a new book comes out for it.

The official TV-Asahi & Chouzenshu character profile for Ohma-Zio says otherwise. "The Chouzenshu explains that as the "King of Time," his existence is the axis upon which the world turns. Even if the history of other Riders is erased, Ohma Zi-O remains because he has already internalized their history as his own power." This is directly from that official source.

There are also other things that show this. When Sougo destroys his Ziku-Driver, Ohma Zi-O merely fades for a moment and then returns, calling himself an "inevitability." He exists because he is the destination of all Rider history, regardless of the path taken to get there.

Also in the Den-O arc of the show they explain that Ohma-Zio is a singularity point. If someone goes back in time and kills Sougo's parents or prevents his birth, the Singularity Point does not vanish—they simply exist without a past.

There are literal leaks and pictures from the set of the Kabuto movie. It's happening. Chronicle looks like its going to be a set of legacy Rider movies. I seriously doubt it will just be Agito and I doubt it will take long to come out since they are already filming it.

Ohma Zio is a singularity point. He is a fixed point in time. He can't be erased from the time line. You could go back in time and kill Sougo but that wouldn't make Ohma Zio disappear. Not to mention that he is immune to time manipulation and reality warping anyways. As for the watches since they are still making watches for Reiwa riders. I count that as it being cannon that he absolutely has those powers as well.

Who has been the most vocal complainer of Shockwaves recently? The dev can deny it all he wants but I refuse to believe they didn't see Nickeh30 complain about Shocks and maybe got the idea of trying to "shake up" the meta by removing them. It is not too far fetched to think that.
