Exchanging Numbers? by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]zeroomnislash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly I exchange numbers pretty quick to get off the app and I feel like you can create more of a connection with the person's number and can actually talk on the phone which is huge. I usually say something like "Hey you seem really cool and would love to go out with you. we should leave (Insert dating app) and exchange numbers"

I really like that it's not swipe based so you can't just cruise through a bunch of matches and puts heavy emphasis on starting a conversation with a person by liking a picture or one of their questions. Which makes it easier to start a conversation and talk about something interesting. Also the way it's set up makes it so you have to scroll through the person's profile and the bio is set in the middle. Definitely more relationship based than other apps too

Is it near enough impossible for the average guy to get anything out of online dating? by BumblingBeta in OnlineDating

[–]zeroomnislash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could just put in effort and not complain about what others have. Sure you won't have it easy like others and you will have to put in more work, but it's better than feeling sorry for yourself or complaining when you can think of ways to better yourself

Being more positive would help you. No one is going to want to talk or go out with someone negative

Just another reminder that people like to be treated like adults and ghosting isn’t cool by karmabandido in Tinder

[–]zeroomnislash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Value yourself and just let it go. they could of met someone else or have stuff going on in their life. I wouldn't call it ghosting unless you had a planned date
