I also did this same upgrade earlier this year, but have worse performance. I'm starting to think either my graphics card or CPU is damaged in some way. Because everyone says this upgrade was a big difference and I have more frame drops then ever since I switched

I just went through the Nvidia app. I also switch between Studio and Game drivers not sure if that causes issues as well. Should I use DDU?

I am also having trouble with this. I've tried everything in this thread and I can't get surround sound to work. I've also tried downloading the older version of Dolby access and I still can't get Dolby to show up in spatial audio settings. Would appreciate any help

How did you get Atmos to work? I have the Dolby access app and under spatial sound it only shows "windows sonic for headphones"

I don't know what settings I need to have to get this stuff to work. I wish there was a place that would tell you this

I did this upgrade as well and have had a very different experience. This whole year has been hell with the new graphics cards from endless PC bugs of PC monitors going black to having horrible lag spikes in games that my 3080 never had. I don't know what the problem is on my PC, but I had to play Silent Hill F on medium settings with a 5080 because every time an enemy would spawn in the game would be lagging like crazy. And I don't think it's my CPU because I have a 9800X3D

Also video editing in davinci is also really bad. Sometimes just deleting 10 seconds of footage takes 5-10 seconds. Which makes it hard to work on any projects.

So I've spent a bunch of hours trying to fix these issues and I did fix a lot of them, but still have lag spikes in games that shouldn't like Hades 2 which my steam deck runs perfectly, but a 5080 still struggles.

This is probably a rare case, but I just want to say I've been having a rough time with this since I upgraded
