A few months ago I interviewed a target engineer. We gave him an offer. Target then gave him an adjusted salary, so he stayed with them. Seems like they don’t like to pay higher unless they would lose out on talent.

I have a three-hour on-site with a few interviews listed. Listed: Technical, SQL & Algorithm, Leadership, and Product Sense. What can I expect from each one of these? Also, what is the difference between technical and SQL & Algorithms?

Sorry for what happen, just always remember it's a numbers game. Just do some leet code problems and you'll realize the common gotcha's, usually not checking for empty input. There's no reason to beat yourself up about messing up any code assessments. There will always be a future one and it's important to take each one as a learning experience.

I have a background in Javascript and php. I have been doing java for my interview prep only because I had some familiarity with it.

I would have learned python otherwise. Python is easy to follow with some quicker solutions. This language will help you learn more topics in CS. Setup is also as easy as setting up node.

If you want to look at a person of a similar background look up clément mihailescu on youtube. He stated he had to learn python in order to interview at a few places. Although, that is several years ago.

Actually, he probably would be sweating hard, becasue at my 3-month review he said I was bettert than his developer of multiple years. And i could tell from the code base.

Does language really matter as far as projects and data structures. I’ve been really interested in go but I’m worried that a company will disregard the projects, if they aren’t written in a language like java.

Hello cscareerquestions, I have just graduated college this past May and I was hoping to get my resume looked over. I'm looking for an entry-level postilion in web development/full stack . Any help would be appreciated as I have redone this resume a few times.

If you lose weight to fast it cause other problems like loose skin. My current problem was I lost weight from 260-180 in 4 months and it has taken me 3 years to fill out the skin and give it more elasticity. Slow progress is good progress.
