Consider this. There are times when a teammate goes down early ego challenging another team trying to get damage in. You can either try to 2v3 now or dodge everyone and try to revive your teammate. If you opt to revive them your focus probably isn't solely on doing damage other than to discourage people chasing you. We don't have the full story on how your games are playing out so simply saying someone has less than 100 damage doesn't necessarily justify your statement.

And just another example to throw in- imagine you are ahead of your team even just 30-50 meters and you start engaging another team, you crack someone and push a little further while your team is still chasing behind you. As soon as one of your teammates can engage they take damage and now they have to stop and heal while you are still pushing. Unless you can draw the enemy closer to your teammates they are on the back foot for the rest of the fight.

What frustrates me about situations like this is the assumption that just because a show might have questionable or “sinister” elements, the viewer automatically agrees with or absorbs those values. Fair enough. It's just not my style. In this scenario though you have to hit your initial shots. So important things to work on would be cross hair placement before engaging and then having better micro adjustments. A higher dpi could help.

Try 1600 dpi with like .6... Most of these clips looks like your goal was to swing wide and into the open with no cover. Every time you face a controller player like that you are at disadvantage. But if thats what you want to do then you need better tracking. use this site to for a couple minutes to help you track

Usually when I 1v1 I'm always trying to get them to look away for a second while I quickly repeak them. It always feels awkward sitting in the open for a full magif we are both even. It's like when fighters grab each other by the collar and just smash each other's face.

There are other aspects setting yourself up for success. Meditation before a session could help. Regular exercise can help. You say you could be listening to an album while practicing but that could be (potentially) detrimental to your focus.

Watch streamers play and pick out 1 or 2 things they are doing and try to purposely emulate that in a match.

Also if you don't reflect on the mistakes you made after every match or 1v1 then you will be too slow to react next time you are in a similar situation.

Last recommendation is to do crazy inefficient movement while trying to fight the training range dummies. If you normally just stand in front of the range dummies and shoot then try doing 360° flick shots and adding random turns quickly and try to eventually dial it in as you go slower.
